Onward
This animation fantasy is our favourite in this list. It features a young boy, who doesn’t have friends because he’s not cool. On the other hand, he has a crazy brother who embarrasses him all the time. On his birthday, he ends up discovering that his late father left him and his brother a gift, which includes magic. He must go on a quest to bring his father back to life before the sunrise. If you are a huge carton fan like us, then we promise, this film is a must-see.

The Way Back
This is a very touching sports drama in which a man has to deal with addiction and anger. Ben Affleck stars in this movie as Jack Cunningham, a former basketball star who goes through a rough patch. Soon he turns to alcohol, which makes him lose his wife, which is a double blow as his son dies too. He soon gets offered a job coaching a struggling high school basketball team where he makes decisions that change his life.

The Invisible Man
A lot of people may still remember the first movie by this name. In the movie, we get to see a scientist creating a formula which makes him invisible. After that, he goes amok and starts causing havoc. Well, this version is a bit slow-paced, but still enjoyable. A woman breaks up with her abusive boyfriend, who dies a little while after they break up. Soon, the woman starts being terrorised by someone she can’t see and she tries to convince everyone that it’s her dead boyfriend and of course, no one buys it, which leaves her with the option of hunting him down.
Conclusion
There are a few other movies that have already been released and we feel like they are just average. This includes The Grudge. After having all the Grudge movies that have been released, we had really high expectations but we were pretty disappointed with this one, to say the least. For now, these are the best movies of 2020. Enjoy!
